Vale Peter Conway, a friend of workers

The Maritime Union of New Zealand passes its solidarity and condolences to the family and friends of Peter Conway, who died on 9 June 2015.

Peter was a long standing advocate for workers, most prominently during his time as CTU Secretary, and was a good friend to the Maritime Union and its members. We note his passing with sadness and remember his significant contribution to New Zealand working people.
